Prickly Pear Silver Necklace

This is quite the statement piece! The prickly pear pendant is made from silver that has been acid etched with the detail of the prickly pear plant. There are tiny silver dots soldered onto the plant to simulate the nubs on prickly pears. I then hand-painted the detail and applied multiple layers of a satin finish for super resiliency. The silver chain is adorned with malachite and coral beads to tie it all together. The length of the necklace is approximatelhy 32" long. The pendant is approximately 3" long x 2-1/2" wide. I made 2 pairs of earrings that coordinate well with this necklace that can be found in the Desert Collection Section.
